Erik Castle was born and raised in Springfield, Ohio. He graduated from Springfield Shawnee High School and then enrolled at The Ohio State University. During his time at The Ohio State University, Erik initially began the pursuit of his degree with an undecided major before eventually focusing on psychology and economics.In addition, he was involved with student life and was a member of the Ohio State men’s rugby team. Erik graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology and a minor in economics.
After graduation, Erik recognized that a career in psychology was not his calling and entered the bail bonds industry, accepting a position with his family’s company, Castle Bail Bonds. Erik began his career with Castle Bail Bonds as an agent before becoming an integral part of the company’s management and growth overseeing day-to-day operations, managing the company’s agents and branch offices across Ohio. During the time at Castle Bail Bonds, Erik – who always had an overwhelming ambition to be an attorney – enrolled at Capital University Law School, taking classes in the evenings while working full-time during the day. While there, Erik was awarded an endowment scholarship and was a member of the Dean’s List.
After graduation and upon passing the Ohio Bar Exam, Erik started practicing law as an associate attorney for Plymale and Dingus. Erik’s area of practice centers around litigation, where he represents clients in civil matters, including personal injury, wrongful death, and product liability. When not advocating for his clients, Erik enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. They reside in Dublin and are active members of the community.
