0-1-3-19 Jefferson Davis Plymale was born on
his father's plantation on Twelvepole Creek in Wayne County, West Virginia on November
7th, 1860. In his younger days he farmed land inherited from his father.
Later, he became the Wayne County Jailer and held that post for several years. In 1879 two children were born to 0-1-3-19 Jefferson Davis Plymale and Alice
Burge (although they were unmarried). She was the sister of 0-1-3-13 Francis Marion
Plymale's wife Mary Burge.
In 1880 he married Pauline Evelyn Wilcox.
On November 17th, 1887 he married Henrietta (Nettie) Hensley.
0-1-3-19 Jefferson Davis Plymale died on July 13th, 1938. He is
buried in the Woodmere cemetery.
